THE HIDDEN CAREGIVERS
SOME OF AMERICA'S YOUNGEST CAREGIVERS ARE HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT.
They are students. They are military - connected children. They are siblings. They are sons and daughters. And while their peers are studying, competing, working, and planning their futures, some are also helping care for wounded, injured, ill, disabled, or otherwise dependent members of their families. Many have never called themselves caregivers. They simply say: "I'm helping my family."
The Military Child World Expo 2027™ intends to help America see them.
THE UNSEEN AMONG US
2027 SPECIAL RECOGNITION — THE UNSEEN AMONG US
Honoring Foster Youth, Kinship Families & The Bonds That Keep Us Together. Different Journeys. Equal Dignity. Every Child Belongs.
Some young people grow up learning how to say goodbye before they learn how to explain why. Their experiences may be different, but one truth remains: every young person deserves to know they belong.

TURN CARE INTO CREDIT
TURN CARE INTO CREDIT™
What if the hours a teenager spends caring for someone they love could finally be documented as service? Through Teen Caregiver Community Service Hours (TCCSH), MCWEF has built a structured framework for recognizing verified unpaid caregiving as meaningful service.
