Introducing the School & Installation Delegate Program

The Military Child World Expo 2026
The story of the Military Child is a story of movement, courage, culture, and quiet leadership. Across installations, cities, classrooms, and countries, military-connected children learn to adapt, rebuild, and carry a legacy of service that is both deeply personal and deeply shared.
In 2026, as the nation marks America’s 250th Anniversary, the Military Child World Expo invites schools and military installations across the world to participate in something meaningful and historic.
Send Two Delegates — One Student and One Chaperone, to Represent Your Community.
This is not a competition. There are no categories to win.
Delegates come to stand, to be seen, to connect, and to carry forward the legacy of their communities.
Who Can Participate
This opportunity is open to:
Purple Star Schools
DoDEA Schools (Stateside & Overseas)
Public & Charter Schools
Military Base Youth Centers
Community-based youth organizations
Any school or installation that believes in belonging, identity, and leadership is welcome.
What Delegates Experience
Over the three-day MCWE weekend, delegates will participate in:
The Promise of the Six Youth Summit
Culture & identity workshops
Reflection circles
Leadership skill-building
The America’s Torchbearers Showcase at Fashion Centre at Pentagon City
Delegates carry their story on behalf of their peers, and return home as ambassadors of connection and belonging.
Why It Matters
For many students, this may be the first time they meet others who share their experience, others who understand deployment, transition, pride, and loss.
In this space, they are not asked to explain. They are understood immediately.
How to Participate
Schools and installations may nominate their delegate team here:

Let your community be represented. Let your story be carried. Let your students be seen.
