Why the Military Child World Expo Exists
Military-connected children grow up moving often, adapting early, and carrying responsibilities beyond their years, yet until now, there has been no single public space dedicated to celebrating their identity, contributions, and future.
The Military Child World Expo exists to:
-
Create a visible home of identity and belonging for military-connected children and brats
-
Recognize their role across generations, past, present, and future
-
Connect families to trusted community organizations
-
Preserve and celebrate a culture that has long existed without formal recognition
This Expo is part of a larger effort to ensure military-connected children are seen, supported, and remembered.

Moving Legacies Forward - The Military Child
For those growing up in the life of service, and those who carry that identity into adulthood.
The Military Child World Expo 2026 (MCWE 2026) is the cultural and identity home of the Military Child , the global community of youth, families, and alumni whose lives have been shaped by military service and global mobility.
Held annually in Arlington, Virginia during the Month of the Military Child, MCWE is where belonging, expression, heritage, and leadership come together across generations. This is more than an expo.
This is:
-
A gathering of youth, military brats, families, alumni and communities
-
A celebration of creativity, resilience, and global identity
-
A space where stories are honored and legacy continues
If service shaped your life, you belong here.
It is the only gathering that celebrates the full life cycle of the military child:
childhood → adolescence → adulthood → legacy.
A National Moment for America’s Daughters
In America’s 250th year, the Military Child World Expo hosts a landmark convening honoring the women shaped by service, and the girls rising behind them. A gathering of distinguished leaders, powerful stories, and generational insight. A space where women, teens, and mothers see themselves reflected in the future of American leadership.
This is not just a panel.
It is a national moment of recognition.
