The Promise of the Six Pavilion TM
Youth Pavilion
Youth-designed. Youth-led. Youth-owned.
A dedicated space where military-connected youth claim voice, belonging, and leadership.
Located in Independence Hall B, the Promise of the Six™ Youth Pavilion is a 6,000 sq. ft. youth-designed and youth-led space created exclusively for military-connected children, teens, and young adults.
This Pavilion exists because youth told us they needed a place of their own, not a corner, not a moment, but a home.
Empower Growth
Military-connected youth grow up navigating constant transitions, responsibility, and service-related sacrifice, often without recognition or a space that truly belongs to them.
Through surveys, listening sessions, and direct youth feedback, one message was clear: “We need a place where our voices matter, where we are not guests, but leaders.
”The Promise of the Six™ Youth Pavilion was created to meet that need.
This is not a symbolic space. It is a physically and programmatically protected environment designed to center youth identity, agency, and future leadership.

What Makes This Pavilion Different
-
Youth are architects, not attendees
-
Leadership is shared, not assigned
-
Identity is honored across age, service branch, and life stage
-
This space belongs to youth, fully and unapologetically
-
The Promise of the Six™ Youth Pavilion represents continuity between generations, honoring the past, empowering the present, and preparing the future. "The Time is NOW."
A Living Legacy
-
Military children have always existed, across wars, generations, and service eras, yet until now, they have never had a recognized home.
This Pavilion is part of building that home.
