At the Military Child World Expo (MCWE), the world gathers to celebrate the voices, talents, and leadership of military-connected youth, and the professionals who support them.

Whether you are a performer, artist, innovator, educator, or youth advocate, this is your chance to take the stage and make an impact.

Military Child World Expo Showcase
Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Sunday, April 26, 2026

Open To The Public & Free Entry

 

Open to:

  • Military-connected youth (Military Child, youth & adult)

  • Civilian youth allies

  • Soloists or groups

 

Performance Types:

  • Music (vocal or instrumental)

  • Dance and movement

  • Spoken word, poetry, drama

  • Cultural presentations and flag/fashion walks

  • STEM/Innovation displays

  • Media, arts, and creative showcases

 

Performer Benefits:

  • Perform on a global stage before a live public audience

  • Eligibility for MCWE Showcase Awards (recognition, media spotlight, commendation letters, ambassador opportunities)

  • Professional photo/video for portfolio and college use

  • Be featured on the MCWE website and social channels

 

Apply to Perform

  • Submit name, act type, short bio, and performance description

  • Include tech needs (audio/visual, Wi-Fi, screen)

  • Upload optional video or audio sample

  • Caregiving & Support Systems

 

Session Formats:

  • Panel discussions

  • Workshops and skill-building sessions

  • Research briefings

  • Youth-led roundtables

  • Present alongside national experts and military family leaders

  • Build your reputation as a change-maker for military-connected children
