A young person, child or teen, currently growing up in a military-connected family (Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, veteran, or Gold Star).-
Represents their personal journey, identity, and resilience while living the military life.

An adult who grew up as a military child and still carries the values, perspective, and identity shaped by their military-connected upbringing.-
Honors the lifelong imprint and legacy of the military child experience.

The Showcase
The World Stage for the Military Child, and the Friends Who Celebrate Them
The Military Child World Expo Showcase is a joyful, high-energy public celebration where military-connected and civilian youth performers come together to share their talents, cultures, creativity, and stories.
Open to the public, from 12 PM to 4 PM this experience transforms the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City into a world stage for the military child, a place where military children and their civilian peers stand side by side, united in performance and pride.
